At Tuesday night's monthly Board of Education meeting, approval was granted for the start of a brand new sport at Lucas High & Middle Schools. Wrestling will be offered for the first time ever in Lucas to all students in grades 7-12 during the winter of 2015-2016.

At this point, the Lucas Athletic Department is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of High School Head Wrestling Coach, Assistant High School Wrestling Coach, Middle School Head Wrestling Coach and Middle School Assistant Wrestling Coach for the start of a brand new program for the 2015-2016 school year.
