Coach Sweat is in his 11th season as an assistant football coach for the Cubs, where
he will be coaching the outside linebackers and has been named the team’s Defensive
Coordinator. A member of the Lucas High School class of 1993, Coach Sweat was active in football, basketball and baseball. Coach Sweat holds a criminal justice degree from North Central State College and currently is an administrator with the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. He served as a coach for the Lucas Pee Wee Football program for nine years. He and his wife, Kelli, have two children, Jimmy and Morgan.
